BALANCE TIME AND COST ON VOLUME SHIPMENTS

Many shippers are exploring intermodal shipping and freight options to move their volume freight more efficiently while maintaining strong transit times. That is why Averitt is now providing world-class intermodal services through preferred relationships with the nation's leading railroads.

Trailer On Flatcar

Efficient, streamlined, and fewer touch points our TOFC intermodal service provides direct door-to-door transportation of your freight.

Once your freight is loaded into an Averitt trailer, it is then loaded onto a flatcar at a railyard and moved by rail to the destination rail hub for final delivery.
